1. About these terms

Marathi Jodi (marathi-jodi.in) is an online matrimonial service for the Marathi community, operated by Pournima Ramesh Tidake, Maharashtra, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the website you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Marathi Jodi is a matrimonial platform only. It is not a dating service and must not be used for casual relationships, commercial solicitation or any purpose other than finding a life partner.

2. Eligibility

To register you must:

• be at least 18 years old (women) or 21 years old (men), the legal marriageable age in India;

• be legally able to marry, i.e. unmarried, divorced or widowed — registering while married is not permitted;

• register for yourself, or on behalf of a son, daughter, sibling, relative or friend with their consent.

3. Your account and profile

• All information you provide (name, age, marital status, education, income, family details, photos) must be true, accurate and kept up to date.

• Every profile is reviewed by our team before it appears in search. We may reject, hide, edit or remove any profile or photo that is false, incomplete, inappropriate or violates these terms.

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.

• One person may hold only one account.

4. Membership and payments

Browsing profiles and sending interest is free. A paid membership unlocks private chat, voice calling and video calling with your matches. Plans and prices are shown on the Pricing page in Indian Rupees (INR).

• Memberships are a one-time payment for a fixed period (1 month, 6 months or 1 year). They do not renew automatically and you will never be charged again without choosing a plan yourself.

• Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

• Membership starts immediately after successful payment and ends at the end of the chosen period.

• Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

• We may change plan prices in future; changes never affect a membership you have already paid for.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• post false information, impersonate anyone, or use someone else’s photos;

• harass, abuse, threaten or send obscene or offensive content to other members;

• ask other members for money, gifts or financial details, or promote any business, scheme or investment;

• collect other members’ personal data, or contact them for anything other than matrimony;

• use automated tools, scrapers or bots, or attempt to interfere with the security of the website.

Violating these rules may lead to immediate suspension or removal of your account without refund, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.

6. Your safety

We review profiles, but we cannot verify every statement a member makes and we do not perform background checks. Please do your own due diligence before sharing personal information, meeting anyone or making any decision about marriage. Meet in public places, involve your family, and never send money to someone you have met online. Report suspicious profiles to us immediately through the Contact page.

7. Content you share

You keep ownership of the photos and information you upload. You give us permission to display them on the website to other members for the purpose of the matrimonial service, and to remove them at any time. Please only upload content you have the right to share.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account through the Contact page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

Marathi Jodi provides a platform for members to find and contact each other. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for membership in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
